Y Bwthyn is a detached barn conversion situated in the hamlet of Pentir, four miles from Llanberis. This single-storey cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, along with a wet room. Outside there`s ample off road parking, a front courtyard with furniture and a shared lawned garden with furniture, unfenced stream and pond. Y Bwthyn is an excellent base with plenty of things to see and do nearby.
The scattered hamlet of Pentir with an excellent pub is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, between the famous town of Llanberis and Bangor. Llanberis has restaurants and shops, and is renowned as something of a `mecca` for walkers and climbers.
