The Manor House cottage Wales

A beautiful country house boasting an abundance of charm and character, The Manor House is the perfect place for a group of friends or families, perfect for 6 adults and a couple of children, in pursuit of a tranquil trip in Wales. Built in 1886 by the Sheriff of Anglesey, and rumored to be considered by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when the Prince was based in RAF Valley, there`s no better base for your own escape to Wales. Make your way up the impressive avenue lined with lime trees, and head beneath the bell tower topping the property to reach the spacious hallway where you can deposit your belongings and venture inside to explore the rest of your surroundings. The living/dining room is a grand spot to spend time with loved ones, whether you`re snuggled up on the sofa in front of the woodburning stove or indulging in a formal dining experience around the contemporary and unique, wooden table with its glass top, you`re sure to create wonderful memories in this room. The kitchen/diner also makes a great spot to enjoy mealtimes together, with the impressive red range cooker allowing you to create your family-favourite meals in no time, with the assistance of the other good range of appliances in this bright and airy room. Spend a moment or two unwinding in the conservatory, watching your furry friends playing happily on the lawn, before retiring to one of the three bedrooms to rest your head. Choose from a ground-floor super-king-size, doubling up as a twin on request and boasting its own en-suite shower room, offering flexibility and a wonderful resting spot for a variety of group needs, whereas on the first floor you will find a family room with both a super-king-size and a truckle bed, in an adjoining alcove, with an impressive en-suite bathroom, and a further king-size, available as a twin on request, offering a range of flexible sleeping arrangements for the whole family, boasting beautiful features throughout. Head outside to discover the warmth of the hot tub on a chilly winter afternoon, soaking in your countryside settings as you unwind, or take a stroll into the local area for rambling routes like no other. Nearby Rhosneigr is the perfect place for a delicious pub lunch or for stocking up on produce, spend your days relaxing on the golden sands of the village beaches or take up the challenge of the water-sports on offer. In easy reach of Holyhead offering day trips to Ireland, South Stack with the impressive Lighthouse and amazing colonies of sea life and a short drive away is mainland Wales, home to the beauty of the Snowdonia National Park, The Manor House is truly the perfect base for your holiday in Wales.

Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village. Nearby Holyhead boasts rich history and even ferry trips to Ireland for the day, whereas Trearddur Bay is a wonderful place for those seeking a relaxing day on golden sands.
