Llanfaelog rests beside Rhosneigr on the western side of Anglesey in North Wales. This small village is close to the main railway, offering good transport links to Holyhead. The village has a 19th century church, along with a small selection of shops and restaurants. The coarse sandy beach of Traeth Llydan is close by, backed by sand dunes, as well as Porth Tyn Tywyn Beach and the lake of Llyn Maelog. Nearby Rhosneigr is a popular seaside town, boasting two Green Coast Seaside award-winning beaches. Keen walkers can join the Anglesey Coastal Path, that will take you right around the island, encompassing magnificent coastal views.
