Hollie Cottage is a 19th century end terraced cottage situated in the market town of Haltwhistle in Northumberland. The cottage has two first floor bedrooms, one with king-size double bed and one double, meaning it can sleep four people in total. There is also a ground floor bathroom comprising a bath with shower over, basin and WC. Hollie Cottage benefits from a well-equipped fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar, along with a living room with a dining table. Outside the cottage there is off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking available if required. With the Pennine Way and other great cycle routes and bridleways nearby, it`s easy to enjoy this stunning scenery, which boasts dramatic castles, surging rivers and beautiful forests. Those interested in the country`s history are sure to enjoy a visit to one of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian`s Wall, only a mile north of the village, and with an ongoing dig on the site of Vindolanda, it`s easy to get in touch with the nation`s past. There is also a regular train and bus service to Newcastle and Carlisle.
