Greystones at Newgate cottage Yorkshire Dales
Greystones at Newgate is a heart-warming cottage situated in the village of Slaithwaite in Yorkshire. Hosting two bedrooms; adult bunks, and a double with single bed, along with a wet room, this property can sleep up to six people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with woodburner. To the outside is off road parking for one car, and a south-facing patio with furniture, fire pit, and barbecue, leading to a waterfall and a pond. Resting in a wonderful location with countryside views, Greystones at Newgate is a lovely retreat in a relaxing part of England.
Full of history, the village of Slaithwaite retains several buildings from the mid 15th century, including Slaithwaite Hall in Yorkshire. The viaduct dominates the skyline and is an awe-inspiring sight, whilst the village centre is very pretty with the restored Huddersfield Canal winding through. The nearby village of Marsden boasts the tourist attractions of Tunnel End and the National Trust`s Marsden Moor Estate, which is a haven for walkers.
