This lovely cottage provides an ideal base to explore the dramatic local landscape. Nestled on the side of the valley with fabulous views against a backdrop of the Pennine Moors you will find villages steeped in local history and legend made famous by writers film and television. Holmfirth is full of art creativity great restaurants and cafes using local produce. A visit to the renowned Holmfirth Vineyard is a must as well as the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Magnificent scenery and cycling routes used in the Tour de Yorkshire are all on the doorstep. For fun filled family adventure outdoor pursuits or miles of peaceful country walks and within close reach to Digley Reservoir this area has so much to offer for everyone. Stepping down to the entrance porch where you can leave those muddy boots and hang up coats a door takes you into the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob washing machine fridge/freezer and microwave.
