STONE'S THROW FROM APPLEDORE QUAYSIDE
This charming corner cottage, tastefully decorated, is a stone's throw from the bustling quayside of this pretty fishing village and is a level walk to the pubs, shops and restaurants.
There is much to see and do to suit all ages and tastes including The Big Sheep and The Milky Way which offer fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities. Other interesting places to visit are Clovelly, a unique cliff-side village with steep, stepped, cobbled streets leading to a pretty harbour, RHS Rosemoor Gardens or Dartington Crystal where you can watch glass being blown or browse around their sparkling showroom. The 2 miles of golden, sandy beach at Westward Ho! is a 5 minute drive away and is perfect for surfing, body boarding or exploring the rock pools at low tide. Other activities such as riding, golf, swimming, tennis and cliff-top walks are all close by. In the evenings enjoy Appledore's famous hospitality with a wide range of traditional pubs serving good food. For those who just want to relax, why not stay closer to home and explore the quaint, cobbled streets of Appledore, watch the boats out on the estuary or just sit on the quayside and enjoy the local delicacy a locally made Hockings ice cream.
