Situated in the unique little fishing village of Appledore, this quaint cosy cottage full of character is tucked away in a quiet courtyard just off Irsha Street. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation and is the ideal holiday retreat within easy walking distance from the bustling quayside of this vibrant fishing village, with its varied restaurants, pubs, array of shops, art galleries and museum. It is also the perfect location for walking, cycling, golf, surfing, fishing, sailing, visiting numerous tourist attractions and relaxing on the sandy beaches. The surfing beach at Westward Ho! is a 5 minute drive and caters for surfers, bathers and families. The popular market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple, with their famous pannier markets are also close by, offering an array of good pubs, shops and restaurants. After a busy day exploring, you can take the chance to relax and reflect on the day's events in the beautiful, secluded patio garden which is separate from the cottage but accessed via a small pathway from the front of the cottage.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin (1 single is 6' and the other is 6' 3"). Shower room: with WC, located downstairs. Lounge / diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV, Blu-ray DVD and Freeview. Kitchen: with gas hob, electric oven, fridge / freezer, washing machine and microwave.
Outside: private patio garden with outdoor seating and BBQ separate from the cottage accessed via a small pathway from the front of the cottage.
Amenities: roadside parking and pay and display car park close by. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking in the property. 1 large dog or 2 small dogs welcome.
Location: beach 1 mile, pubs and shops walking distance. Arrival: 4pm.
