This delightful three storey cottage is nestled in the centre of the charming fishing village of Mousehole one of Cornwalls hidden gems. The villages fishing heritage dates back to 1266 and the tightly knitted streets are full of local granite built cottages. Mousehole was also believed to be the home of the last person to speak only the Cornish language and her house is celebrated with a plaque. Perfect for a stroll to a host of pubs galleries restaurants and shops or as a base for touring Cornwalls breath taking landscape beaches and historic sites. There are also some fantastic walks to be had with the scenic Coastal Path on your doorstep as well as attractions such as Lands End Sennen Cove Porthcurno St Michaels Mount and numerous beautiful National Trust properties. Mousehole is also famous for its Christmas lights around the harbour and village and the switch on is always something to look forward to. This is very famous in West Cornwall and has been a feature of the village for over 50 years. Arranged over three floors you ll find all you need to enjoy your stay. Stepping into the lounge you ll instantly feel at home. A Smart TV iPod docking station and hi-fi offer in-house entertainment. Here you will also find a separate WC. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a cooker fridge with ice compartment microwave and plenty of utensils. The top floor with lovely sea views over the rooftops to the sea is where you ll find the double bedroom with en-suite shower room and second WC. There are two quay side pay and display car parks close to the cottage and some road side parking on approach to the village. Need to know: Sleeps 2. 1 double bedroom 1 en suite shower room, 2 WC s. Cooker, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and washer/dryer. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included. Wi Fi. Smart TV in lounge. Beach, shops and pubs all walking distance. Regret not suitable for babies, small children or those with mobility concerns. Regret no pets.
