This cottage is located in the Meads Village area to the west of Eastbourne. A stay in Meads is a fantastic choice for those who want to make the most of the breath-taking countryside which neighbours Eastbourne as there is direct access onto the South Downs Way just 200 yards from the propertys front door. Just under two miles across the cliffs is the renowned beauty spot Beachy Head which offers some of the most spectacular coastal views in the area. The local beach Holywell is close to the property. This shingle beach is a much quieter and laidback alternative to the main town beach whilst the addition of pretty Italianate gardens and a tea chalet make it a delightful place to spend a day. This property offers guests the chance to stay in a traditional fishermens cottage for an authentic taste of Sussex seaside life. The lounge is a wonderfully cosy room with a sofa to relax on a wall mounted smart TV and a dining table and chairs. A door leads through to the modestly-sized and yet well-equipped kitchen which offers an oven hob microwave an integrated washing machine and a fridge with freezer compartment. There is a winding staircase leading to the first floor of the property where there is a restful double room with wrought iron bedstead and plenty of storage space in the built-in wardrobes. The spacious seaside-themed bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside there is a small seating area to the front of the property and a courtyard patio to the rear which is accessed through the kitchen. There is roadside permit parking close to the property subject to availability for which one permit is supplied. Need to know: 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. TV.
