Yr Hen Olchfa cottage Wales
Yr Hen Olchfa is a lovely, welcoming and homely end-terrace cottage in the centre of Bala and can sleep four people. There is a ground floor king-size double bedroom, a single bedroom, a ground floor bathroom, a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric fire, sofa bed and balcony and there is also a conservatory. Outside there is off road parking for one car, additional, free roadside parking opposite, lockable storage for bikes, kayaks etc. in the garage and a rear yard with a small wooden bench and a first floor balcony with furniture. Yr Hen Olchfa is a lovely holiday base.
The busy market town of Bala sits within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, The famous lake at Bala, is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniaid, which is a relic of the Ice Age. Celebrated as a centre for many fantastic water sports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white water rafting.
