White Goose Cottage is a modern, mid-mews cottage in an elevated position above the River Esk on the outskirts of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Boasting one double bedroom with a sofa bed and one single room with a pull out bed, as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to four people. There is an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside of the cottage there is a private patio, a communal lawned area and off-road parking for two cars. The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the eerie Whitby Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps, commanding dramatic views of the sea and town below.
