Ty Gwyn cottage Wales

Ty Gwyn is a rustic barn conversion on the owner?s smallholding, in a rural location in the Powys countryside, within driving distance of the village of Newbridge-on-Wye near Rhayader. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one a ground floor double with an en-suite wet room and the other a first floor double with a folding double bed. There is also an open plan living area with stone floors, exposed beams, a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a warming woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking and an enclosed patio. With the River Wye meandering through the valley, there are lots of walking, cycling, fishing and canoeing opportunities here, as well as number of lovely villages and towns close by, including Rhayader and the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells. Ty Gwyn is a cosy and traditional cottage, perfect for an away-from-it-all holiday to remember. Note: No worker bookings accepted.

Rhayader is a small Welsh town with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and shops, with the added bonus of a leisure centre and regular livestock marts. The annual Royal Welsh Show is just one of the attractions in nearby Builth Wells, where a great variety of exhibitions and sales are held all year round. The beautiful Elan Valley offers a wonderful variety of walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitor centre with cafe and children`s play area.
