This is an ideal base for you to discover and explore the Lake District the lodge is near to the shore of Lake Windermere situated on a private holiday park located between the beautiful villages of Windermere and Ambleside. The village of Windermere has a variety of pubs restaurants and shops to explore making this lodge ideally situated for your visit with family or friends. A short drive away you will reach Bowness where you can hire a boat or enjoy a cruise on the Lake Steamers along the full length the Lake. Close by you have the popular Brockhole Visitors centre where you can try your hand at the tree top adventure course or even the zip wires. Enter the lodge into the lounge/diner. This space has two sofas a TV/DVD and coal effect gas fire the perfect place to relax or just catch up on your favourite shows. The dining area has a dining table with seating for six. To the right is the kitchen equipped with an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Leading off from the kitchen to the hallway you can then access the shower room with shower and the separate WC. Further along the corridor you arrive at the double bedroom with TV and directly opposite is the master double bedroom also with TV. Finally the bunk bedroom the perfect hideaway for children and their own TV. Heading outside there is a large decked area with table and chairs perfectly positioned to enjoy the evening sunsets or relax in the wonderful hot tub after a day exploring. You are also able to take advantage of the shared on-site facilities including indoor heated swimming pool spa bath sauna steam room and gym all available at an extra charge. There is off-road parking for two cars available at the front of the lodge. Need to know: Sleeps 4 2 (bunk bedroom only suitable for children). 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 bunk bedroom (suitable for children only). 1 shower room and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Private hot tub. Shared indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and gym available at an extra charge to be arranged with owner. Shared childrens play facilities with swings and slide. Electric and central heating included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome. Shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. TV/DVD in lounge and TV in all bedrooms. In line with current government restrictions the shared facilities on site including swimming pool, spa facilities and gyms may not be available or will operate with reduced capacity based on the most recent government guidance for stays between 12th April 16th May.
