The Red Barn cottage Devon
The Red Barn is a wonderful cottage on a Dartmoor farm near the Devon village of Lydford. The cottage sleeps six people in three en suite bedrooms, two double and a twin. On the ground floor are a sitting room with wood burning stove, kitchen with dining area and an indoor variable flow swimming pool. Outside is an enclosed garden with terrace and barbecue and the cottage shares an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and games room at the farm. Situated two miles from Lydford and with a lovely farm to walk, The Red Barn is an ideal base for a Devon holiday.
Nestling among mature woodland on the western slopes of Dartmoor, the historic village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards.
