The Dairy cottage Dorset and Somerset
The Dairy is a lovely converted farm cottage situated in the village of Mosterton near to the town of Beaminster in Dorset and benefits from a quiet countryside location. The cottage can sleep 4 people in 1 double with en-suite shower and 1 twin single bedrooms as well has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen/dining/sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and an enclosed front facing patio with furniture. The Dairy is superb for young families who wish to holiday in a countryside short drive away from the Jurassic coast.
Beaminster nestles beneath the rolling West Dorset downland within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Around its square is the Conservation Area which boasts over 200 Grade II listed buildings, many of which are built from mellow hamstone. This thriving rural community offers a good selection of shops, inns and restaurants, whilst each summer hosts a popular music and arts festival. The local area abounds in a network of footpaths, one leads to the village of Netherbury, the site of the original River Cottage TV programme. An easy drive will see you in the lively market town of Bridport and to West Bay (TV`s Broadchurch) on Dorset`s stunning Jurassic Coast, whilst Lyme Regis, Dorchester and Weymouth are all easily accessible.
