The village of Rock has many shops including a bakery newsagent and post office a delicatessen and a small but excellent supermarket. A variety of good restaurants and pubs in Rock or nearby Padstow. There is much to see and do rent a wetsuit and have a go surfing at Polzeath. Take the ferry over to the historic fishing port of Padstow and visit Prideaux Place. Sightseeing at St Enodoc Church recovered from the sand dunes and final resting place of Sir John Betjemen. Walk out to the Rumps to look for seals or consult the OS map for a huge variety of local scenic walks. Bike along the Camel Trail on the disused railway line to Wadebridge and Bodmin.
