This 20th century cottage that has been beautifully modernised and is full of character. Located in South Huish, a peaceful rural hamlet in a delightfully unspoilt valley which runs down to the sea at Thurlestone Sands, which is less than 1 mile, making this the perfect property for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday.
The village itself is close to the old fishing village of Hope Cove, where you will find sandy beaches and miles of delightful and varied scenery along this rugged Heritage Coastline. Salcombe lies a few miles away and is famous for its beautiful estuary, its sailing, boating and golden beaches. Thurlestone Sands is a wonderful beach for sunbathing, swimming and watersports. The wonderful surrounding countryside is designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and is a real joy for those who enjoy the outdoors. There are many beautiful country walks quite literally on your doorstep. South Hams offers a wide variety of days out, including Dartmouth for shopping and its beautiful castle, or take a trip to Agatha Christie's house. The market town of Kingsbridge, 3 miles away, provides all the main local amenities such as shopping, supermarket, cinema and leisure centre. An ideal property for a family holiday and will welcome everyone, after days exploring the pretty villages of the spectacular South Devon coast.
