The historic town of Rye is known for its twittens tiny narrow streets that twist and turn through the town. This is exactly where you will find this characterful apartment on the cobbled passageways of one of the most famous of these twittens. Rye is a somewhat unique town with its independent boutique shops antique emporiums galleries and many places to eat including pubs tearooms and fine dining restaurants. For beach lovers the vast sands of Camber are within a short drive a fantastic spot for paddling sandcastle building or having a go at kite surfing while those looking to soak up a bit of local culture should head to Rye Castle Museum for its impressive collection of paintings and displays. An entrance hallway welcomes you into this Indian inspired medieval property and guides you up a steep flight of stairs to the first floor. The kitchen is a gem of a space mixing contemporary appliances with stunning period features including the beams and inglenook fireplace. There is an electric oven and gas hob dishwasher fridge/freezer and a small table and chairs offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a meal overlooking the towns rooftops. The shower room with shower and WC is also located on this floor. A small flight of stairs leads to the second floor where you will find a beautifully styled lounge area with comfy seating a larger dining table with seating for six. The TV is cleverly hidden away in the corner cupboard. The master bedroom can also be found on this floor with a king-size bed and a pretty window seat overlooking the street below a perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by below. A further flight of stairs leads to two bedrooms in the eaves a king-size and the other a twin each room enjoys views across Ryes famous roof tops to the countryside beyond. There is no outside space for this property however it is perfectly positioned within the town close to the beach shops and pubs. Parking is available in the local car park charges apply.
