Situated next to a quiet dog friendly shingle beach which becomes sandy at low tide it is ideal for sailing swimming or a spot of fishing. A walk along the beach will take you to the local shops pubs and restaurants or just a short drive from the property is the village of Pevensey with its striking castle now an English Heritage site. Further along the coast are the towns of Bexhill-on-Sea and Eastbourne with the Sovereign Harbour Marina a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. The Towner also in Eastbourne is a stylish contemporary art gallery which is not to be missed along with The Observatory Science Centre and the impressive Herstmonceux Castle situated in the same grounds just a short drive away.
