On the first floor is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a balcony overlooking the open countryside. Within the grounds of the holiday park is ample off road parking. No. 51 Valley Lodge offers simple, modern accommodation in a beautiful rural setting making this an ideal holiday cottage for a relaxing break.
The small village of Gunnislake lies on the steeply wooded banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall`s far west. Close to hand, the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its market, pubs and restaurants is a must, while the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele house and gardens are just 15 mins away. Enjoy a round of golf at St Mellion, explore the restored Victorian mining village at Morwhellam Quay, search for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath or take a trip to the beach and picturesque harbour at Looe - there`s something for everyone.
