Margarets Cottage cottage Yorkshire Dales
Margaret`s Cottage is a traditional stone built, mid-terraced cottage in the small village of Low Row in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the village of Reeth. Comprising one double bedroom, one twin and a family bathroom, this cottage is suitable for four people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage there is a terraced garden to the front with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, as well as off road parking for one car. Being so well located, Margaret`s Cottage is the perfect base for a family wishing to explore all of the delights of this part of the Yorkshire Dales.
A scattering of traditional farms and cottages make up the village of Low Row situated to the north of the River Swale. The village of Reeth just a short drive away dates back to Saxon times and became of sufficient size and importance to be mentioned in the Domesday Book. Its eighteenth-century houses and hotel clustered around the triangular village green make it one of the very popular Dales villages. Askrigg better known to millions as Darrowby in TV`s James Herriot`s "All Creatures Great and Small" is just a short drive away as well as Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force (England`s highest single drop waterfall at 99ft).
