From here, wander into the town of Harlech, where a range of shops, restaurants and a pub are overlooked by a 13th century castle. Other days out can be spent exploring,the vast array of walks and cycle routes within the Snowdonia National park, or keep to the coastline and visit the Italianate-style village of Portmeirion or the coastal resort of Porthmadog.
