In beautiful and peaceful surroundings with far reaching views to the Solway Firth, the cottage offers the perfect location for a relaxed holiday.
The cottage is adjacent to the owners' home, up a single track road and a couple of miles away from the friendly village of Kirkinner. The nearby Galloway Forest Park with heather clad hills, lush green forest, tranquil valleys and an array of wildlife it is one of three top 'Dark Skies' parks in Europe perfect for stargazing without a telescope. Local outdoor activities include two internationally renowned mountain biking centres, bird watching and fishing spots and golf courses. To explore further take a day trip to Ireland from nearby Stranraer or head north to the Southern Upland Way.
The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: 1 twin bedroom. Shower room.
Lounge: TV, DVD player and futon sofa bed. Kitchen / diner: with dining table, electric oven, fridge / freezer, washing machine, microwave and secure equipment storage.
Outside: secluded private garden with patio furniture.
Amenities: bed linen, towels and night storage heating included.
Additional info: Short breaks are charged as follows: 3 and 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 and 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. 10% discount for single occupancy and when booking 2 consecutive weeks.
