Howe End Cottage cottage North York Moors and Coast
Howe End Cottage is a terraced townhouse in Kirkbymoorside. This cosy accommodation includes a second floor family room with twin beds and children`s bunks, and on the first floor, a double and a twin. There is a first floor shower room and a second floor bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room. Outside, parking can be found on the roadside, and there is a private rear courtyard garden with furniture. Howe End Cottage makes a welcoming and convenient base for enjoying the moors and coast, or for trips to York.
Positioned on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and set between Helmsley and Pickering is the attractive market town of Kirkbymoorside. Full of traditional Yorkshire buildings, this pretty town is the centre for all local farms and villages. Visitors to this lovely settlement will find a variety of tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants in addition to a number of high quality antique shops. There is also a market every Wednesday. Nearby Pickering is also worth visiting as the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway. With excellent walking and cycling routes though the magnificent scenery of the National Park, in addition to villages of Hutton le Hole and Lastingham all within easy driving distance, visitors to Kirkbymoorside will be spoiled for choice.
