Located in a tranquil hamlet in one of Cornwalls most popular areas this property is just 2.5 miles from the coastal footpath. From here you can reach many sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves by foot. The popular village of Kilkhampton is a short drive away and offers shops and two traditional inns while the hamlet of Morwenstow leads to the spectacular Shipwreck Coast and its renowned church. Further afield make sure you visit some of Devon and Cornwalls most iconic attractions including Bude Tintagel Boscastle and Launceston Steam Railway. Inside the accommodation is steeped in original charm with exposed ceilings and wall beams throughout and slate floors. In the spacious kitchen/diner you will find an electric cooker fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Once you have finished your meals unwind in the cosy lounge where there is a wood burner-effect electric fire TV and DVD for a romantic night in. Cottage-style stairs lead up to the double bedroom which is steeped in character with exposed ceilings and wall beams and includes an iPod dock/radio alarm. Next door there is an en-suite bathroom with overhead shower WC and washing machine. Outside a pretty enclosed patio garden is bordered by herbaceous beds. Enjoy al fresco meals at the garden table and chairs after a long day exploring the surrounding countryside. Ample off-road parking is available.
