The cottage is found in the village of Chideock which has all local amenities you could need to stock up for provisions. Set back on the lane which leads down to the beach at Seatown the detached property dates back to the 1900s and has been extended to provide luxurious accommodation. Adjacent to the owners house it is centrally located for exploring the local area and the town of Bridport is only 3 miles away with its working harbour and selection of cafes for watching the world go by. There are also a number of walking routes for taking your dog on and they vary from easy to challenging it all depends how energetic you re feeling! The single storey property is accessed via stone steps from the parking area. Entered through French doors into the light and airy hall with quirky glass ceiling allowing light to fill the space. The hall benefits from a hardwearing tiled floor ideal for dogs and there is plenty of space to store coats and boots after you return from a walk. Up one step into the kitchen/dining room there is another glass ceiling this time vaulted which allows for plenty of light to make the property feel airy and spacious. There is a wooden floor and all modern conveniences in the kitchen including a dishwasher with French doors leading out into the rear garden. Across the hall is the lounge which has a wood burner for those cosy nights in plus a Smart TV and iPod dock for entertainment and the cosy decoration is accented by the beautiful slate floor. There are two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the single bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath. Outside to the front is a paved garden which is accessed via four steps and is split-level with several areas of additional steps. This leads to a quaint summer house and the whole front garden is dotted with plants and flowers. The enclosed rear garden is on two levels and is mainly terraced with some shrubs and climbers. There is an upper terrace up seven steps boasting captivating rooftop views of the local area and to the hills in the distance. There is parking for one car. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 single (4ft bed). 2 en suite bathrooms for the double bedroom there is an en suite with shower and WC; for the single bedroom there is an en suite with a roll top bath and WC. Off road parking available for 1 car, further parking at the local shop can be found a couple of minutes walk away for 1 a day and is subject to availability. Beach within 1 mile.
