This traditional Victorian farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century, is set on this family working farm with lovely views over the rolling countryside, ideal for families looking for a relaxing holiday with every home comfort provided. There is much to see and do with some of the best walks within Devon right on the doorstep, you can also access the river Torridge through the country lanes and just a short stroll to The Halsdon Nature reserves or a circular route to Dolton.
The traditional village of Beaford is less than a mile away. Ideally placed for touring the whole of Devon, there are long sandy surfing beaches within 25 minutes, Dartmoor with its rugged splendour, and attractions to suit all tastes which include RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, The Milky Way, numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few. After a hectic day sightseeing, relax in the large beautiful gardens, a haven for children, or enjoy a drink whilst cooking alfresco on the BBQ, all the while planning your next day's adventure. Leisure facilities: relax in the private hot tub with ipod docking station and ambient LED lighting.
The spacious accommodation is part of the owner’s farmhouse where a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size and 2 twins.
Bathroom: with bath, shower cubicle and WC. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge / diner: with 32" flatscreen TV with Freeview DVD, video and woodburner effect electric fire. Kitchen: Newly fitted and well-equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Utility: with tumble dryer.
Outside: use of gardens.
