COSY COTTAGE TUCKED AWAY IN THE HEART OF APPLEDORE
This 2 bedroom coastal retreat is perfect for a couple or a small family. The cottage has been tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished by the owners who live nearby. Located in the pretty, fishing village of Appledore, this cosy cottage is 2 minutes' walk from the quayside and village shops.
Hidden in the quaint streets of Appledore you will discover the many galleries and local artist's studios. Visit the maritime museum, take a trip on the river or simply stroll down to the quayside to watch the world go by. In the evening, either dine in one of the local pubs and restaurants or retreat to the privacy of the cottage for a quiet BBQ. Westward Ho! is a short drive away, and with 2 miles of sandy beach, is ideal for swimming or surfing. The nearby town of Bideford offers a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an historic quayside and art museum. Local attractions include The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park, The Milky Way, Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal.
The cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with TV and 1 single located on the first floor. Shower room: also on first floor with heated towel rail and WC. Lounge / kitchen: the spacious ground floor is open-plan offering exposed beams, comfortable seating, coal effect gas fire, flatscreen TV, DVD, hi-fi and games chest with board games and books. The kitchen area has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine and door leading to dining room. Dining room: located at the back of the property with double doors opening onto the decked area.
Outside: enclosed decked area with garden furniture and BBQ.
Amenities: roadside parking a 5 minutes walk or in public car park, 10 minutes walk. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electric and central heating included. Heating charge, payable direct to the Owners £15 a week (from October to end of April). Regret strictly no smoking or pets.
