Abbey View Cottage cottage North York Moors and Coast

This charming, stone-built barn conversion is located opposite a working dairy farm in the small rural farming village of High Normanby. Close to Fylingthorpe and just two miles from Robin Hood`s Bay, this property is composed of a double bedroom, a well-equipped galley kitchen and an open plan living space with seating area and electric stove. Traditionally furnished throughout, the property has an appealing garden to the front, as well as impressive views across open farmland to Whitby Abbey.

With its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, Robin Hood`s Bay is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coast. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming fishing community is located at the edge of a sweeping bay backed by cliffs and rugged moorland scenery. Visitors can enjoy a variety of beach and cliff top walks, or alternatively more serious walkers can attempt the long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks – all of which take in Robin Hood`s Bay. The village amenities are superb, offering everything a guest might need, while charming alleyways and plenty of places to relax, make this a wonderful spot for a vacation.
