This lovely cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning county of Northumberland with Alnmouth beach only a 10 minute drive from the property. The historic market town of Alnwick is just a short walk away and is home to an excellent range of cafes boutique shops restaurants cobbled streets and traditional market days but is best known for the majestic Alnwick Castle and the fantastic Alnwick Garden. Both the castle and garden make excellent days out for all the family with the castles popular dungeons and the gardens wonderful displays. Theres also a theatre leisure centre and the popular Bakehouse Art Gallery as well as Barter Books with the largest collection of second-hand books in the country. On entering this bright and attractive single-level cottage which is part of a complex of delightful holiday properties you will find yourself in the light and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
