The lively harbour town is filled with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops, and is home to the Ffestiniog Railway. Borth-y-Gest rests close-by, boasting scenic cliffs and coves, there`s also the village of Portmeirion, recognised as a filming location for TV shows including The Prisoner and Cold Feet, and cultural sites such as Criccieth and Harlech castles. Adventure awaits at Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below, hosting underground caverns, high zip wires, and plenty of activities for the whole family. Porthmadog is a honeypot location when exploring the areas surrounding Snowdonia National Park.
