A cornucopia of interactive scientific delights, it will keep children of all ages and adults too, happy all day. Walk through Cavehill park in Belfast to McArt's Fort. It's pet friendly, so take the dog across the moorlands and meadows of Cavehill to the children's adventure playground for a fun filled afternoon. Strangford Lough in County Down is a must. The biggest sea lough in Britain, it's a mass of bird life and wildlife as well as unspoiled beaches and rugged countryside. A really special location. The Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark at Fermanagh is another great favourite with visitors. See underwater rivers and caverns by boat in this subterranean wonderland.
